Texas CLE Requirements Overview
Total Credits: 15 credit hours per year

CLE Deadline: Last day of the attorney’s birth month
Carry Over Credit: Attorneys may carry over 15 credits into the next reporting period.
Reporting: Attorneys in Texas are responsible for ensuring that their attendance file is accurate and up-to-date. submits attendance information to Texas weekly on Tuesdays. Please ensure that your bar number is filled out and correct in your profile and allow up to 5 business for your credits to be processed by the State Bar. Attorneys may self-report their attendance if they need their credits posted to their transcript sooner by going online and entering the course IDs found on their certificates of completion.
